One thing that has always confused me about fashion is the way seasons and designers dictate what is in and out of style. The shots in this series, for example, are from the Fall 2008 campaign for Valentino. In the fashion world, these are outfits are way out of style. Either way, this is a great set of photos.

This dress by the late Alexander McQueen was sported by Lady Gaga on two separate occasions. Once for the September  Vanity Fair photo shoot and the other for the 2010 MTV VMA Awards. The outfit also features McQueen heels and a Angels Fancy Dress crown.

I'm not too sure about the details of this project other than it is a great photo spread. The photos are by Danielle St. Laurent, the model is Taylor Warren and the fashion editor is Rachel Gilman.

Here's an advertisement / promotion for J'aime Perfume from La Perla by Pejman Biroun Vand. Since the photographer can't actually portra the scent of a perfume, he uses evocative imagery to sell the product.

British musician Cheryl Cole was the cover girl for Harper's Bazaar UK in June. Alexi Lubomirski was the force behind these great photos.
