The aptly titled Diva features a perfectly suited Sasha Pivovarova. Her portrayal of a diva is perfectly portrayed. From the seemingly bored acceptance of flowery praise, to the completely soul penetrating stare, to the complate outrage, she plays the emotions perfectly. I am especially fond of the way her eyes light up every picture. Photographed by the talented Miles Aldridge.
Giuliano Bekor shot this absolutely incredible series entitled Beauty for Harper's Bazaar. This series screams sexuality, beauty and vulnerability. He makes great use of bold colors, whimsical backgrounds and of course beautiful women.
Lily Donaldson looks absolutely amazing in this Vogue UK 2005 editorial. I love the combination of subtle colors, giant necklaces, and of course the alluring poses of Lily. I think I fell in love when I saw the photo above.
Joshua Pestka is an amazing fashion photographer based in New York City. He finds inspiration for his shots from things he sees every day, from a backlit girl on 9th ave to random shapes emergence from the shadows. You can find him on Facebook or on Twitter.
Here's what Kelly had to say about the shoot:
"For five days in Malibu, I lived in a dream. I found myself in a dream house, in a dream world, working with the caliber of collaborators i’d always dreamed I’d meet. We had free reign of an aesthetic surreality, to play dress up and make as many pictures as we pleased. We basked in the sun, we binged on bluesy tunes, we supped on champagne and we revisited the videos that inundated our adolescences. We swung on the swings and spun our feet in the sea. We got so unbelievably inspired, in love with the moment. Here begins the series of work that ensued:"

Free People features some great shots of Ashley Smith for their July 2011 catalogue. I love the colorful touches on the edges. The photos are great without them, but I like the color they add. Photographed by Alexandra Valenti in Austin, Texas. Check out her site to see some more great shots from this catalogue.
One thing that has always confused me about fashion is the way seasons and designers dictate what is in and out of style. The shots in this series, for example, are from the Fall 2008 campaign for Valentino. In the fashion world, these are outfits are way out of style. Either way, this is a great set of photos.
