Knate is a self-taught photographer living in Albuquerque,NM who only recently discovered timelapse and astro photography. It's a good thing he lives in the southwest. It allows him to capture the stars and sky away from the city lights, resulting in some beautiful shots.

Salar de Uyuni is the world's largest salt flat located in Altiplano, Bolivia. In the rainy season it is covered with a large layer of salt and it turns into a huge mirror.
