It's not every day you get to see such a refreshing set of engagement photos. This wonderful set was shot by Olivia Graham in Central Park. There is a nice vintage feel to the photos, from the outfits, to the makeup and lighting, everything gives you that old-fashioned feel. Let's hope some more photographers can take a page from this book.

A beautiful spread for Free People's January 2011 lookbook. This series was shot in Paris and makes great use of soft lighting and has a nice light-hearted feel to it.
From National Geographic's space photos.
Here's the caption: "The plane of our home galaxy, the Milky Way, seems to cascade over sandstone hills in a long-exposure nighttime shot taken earlier this month in Algeria's Tassili n'Ajjer National Park, in the heart of the Sahara. The bright "star" at left is the gas giant planet Jupiter. A UN World Heritage site, Tassili n'Ajjer is famous for its caves filled with thousands of drawings and engravings that date as far back as 6000 B.C. Photographer Babak Tafreshi writes on The World At Night (TWAN) astrophotography website that "prehistoric skygazers surely witnessed a similar sky." (See a similar picture of the southern sky over Brazil's Iguaçu Falls.)"
Vesa Lehtimäki, aka Avanaut on Flickr, has created some pretty fabulous works of art out of his childrens' Star Wars toys. He has created some creative and very well thought out shots from the toys. He even has a book coming out, Lego on Hoth, which imagines what everyday life on the planet Hoth.
Zena Holloway specializes in underwater photography. These photos are just a small sampling of her awe-inspiring work. I love the poses and the way the dresses flow underwater. Be sure to check out more of her work on her portfolio. If you like this you will also like Behind the Surface by Nadia Moro.
This dress by the late Alexander McQueen was sported by Lady Gaga on two separate occasions. Once for the September Vanity Fair photo shoot and the other for the 2010 MTV VMA Awards. The outfit also features McQueen heels and a Angels Fancy Dress crown.

By the looks of it, you would never know this was Ulyana Sergeenko's first fashion line. There is a nice vintage feel to her designs which were inspired by 1950s illustrations in Soviet Vogue. Check out etoday to see more from this wonderful collection.
Not really sure what it is about her work, but I'm really diggin Claire Oring's photography. Her photography focuses on the concepts of magic, sisterhood, and nature with some great results. I especially like her Conjure series. Check out her portfolio to see more of her work.
Loving the double exposure photography work by Dan Mountford. The way the two exposures are combined make for some really interesting shots. The compositions are creative and interesting, If you get a chance, head over to his Flickr set and read the descriptions for these shots.
